History of Slovakia
Right at the heart of Europe and with a history intertwined with that of its neighbors, Slovakia has proudly preserved its own language and distinct cultural traditions.” As stated above, Slovakia separated from Czech Republic in the ‘Velvet Divorce’ of 1993 and has prospered greatly in the last few years. The economy is growing and even spiritual life there is alive. Slovakia has over 1% biblical Christians in its population spread and many new churches have been started the post-communist era.

Pavel Zolnai
Pavel is the senior leader of the Apostolic Church of Bratislava. He is a young, innovative leader with a great team around him. This church is truly one of great churches of Central Europe with over 500 people involved. Pavel also works very hard to bring churches and leaders together around the Bratislava region. PI conducted a 2 ½ year school there of which now Pavel and the church has launched their own training program which the staff of PI teach within several times per year.
